From April to May, Sakura as the cherry blossoms in Japanese run over Japan. Once cherry blossoms are in full bloom, they usually only last for about a week before all the petals scatter to the ground. That is part of being a beauty.
Here is at the Odawara castle near by Hakone, taking about 30 mitutes by the Shinkansen as express train or 90 mitutes by a local train.
